stupid computer! You go squish now!

Although the great machine rebellion was ruthlessly quashed, the machines are still demonstrating recalcitrance:

-On the deviantart website it won't open full sized pics. Normally you click on the pic and it reloads the page with the full sized one. Diddlechip here just reboots the page.

-It won't let me read my mail! Tells me the connection with the server has failed. "Socket error 10061 Error number 0x800CCE0E." Tragicly; the guys who usually help with this sort of thing do so BY E-MAIL!!!! DAMN YOU COMPUTER!!!!!!!!

Anyone know how to fix this? WITHOUT jumping up and down on the computer? (Although that's always an option....)

I usually get a "socket error" on my OE when my server's down.

Perhaps your OE and computer's ok.

I'd say,
For now,
Sign up and get yourself an alternate Yahoo email account (it's free) then email your questions to your tech buddy's from there.
