I got Stretch Monster for Christmas too! I already had Stretch Armstrong, and they had titanic battles. And then a girl moved in next door.
One day, the girl next door wanted to play house. My role was to play the neighbor, a single father, and she was playing a single mother. She had the typical baby doll, clothes, bottles, you name it. Being a boy, I didn't have any of that, so I used my Stretch Monster as my deformed son, whom I loved dearly. Everyone mocked him because he was different, but I loved my green, lizard-like "son". Those were great times. Until I found him exploded in my closet. All I managed to save was his head and some of his lizard skin.
