So far, I was aiming mainly at the Fantasy/SF genre (Trek, Heroes, Apes), but the kid in me has always loved knights and pirates and cowboys, so I find them impossible to resist. I don't think I'll ever go for Happy Days, Waltons, etc.

Actually as far as figures go, I'm done. Though that might have been different had the retro-action stuff made some more of the Batman line. Accessories I still want, and the Mission to Gamma 6 playset, but I'm content w/ what I have.

Too little space and too much stuff I have no interest in. I don't care who makes it, I have zero interest in stuff like Love Boat and Captain and Tennile figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

at first i tried to collect them all but had to start drawing the line because funds starting getting low and some of the stuff was just not appealing to me like the waltons, little rascals, cher, and some others although they were very well made.

I'm zeroing in on finishing loose examples of complete WGSH, Star Trek, West, Starsky & Hutch, Space 1999, Robin Hood, Knights, and Pirates figure sets. I need a few WGSH figs and a Pirates Jean, and mostly just acces. parts for the other lines. I've wrapped up POTA as well whenever I find a pair of silver ape gloves.

I only have a Mummy for Monsters, but I'm only going for T2 examples, so I'll have to find Palitoy versions.

At the end of the day I'm probably not going for a run of Waltons, Our Gang, or Happy Days, and I'm staying out of Dinah and AJ as well. I'll pretty much try for all other 8" figs.

I'm sure once I've hit all my main collection holes (zorro and such may take a while) the custom factory will get insane (because it will) - but I'll start being more focused on remego then too. I'm never going to be a packaged guy, unless the art is cool and the price is low.

When I hear collect em all, I always think of one person. I am not sure if everything in his books was his, but John Bonavita looked to collect them all. He truly collected Mego toys and is the most extensive "Mego" collection I have ever seen.
Common sense is not that common.

I used to collect WGSH only and then one day 'Larry' sold me a case fresh AJ mib and I have been hoarding AJs ever since. Also in lean times, its fun to collect something more affordable, those WGSHs are darn expensive.

I might add that I have never owned a Mego Star trek or POTA figure So its safe to say that i will probably be collecting these for the rest of my life.

I like to spread the love around to all things Mego. My collection is relatively small at this point, but consists of WGSH, Oz, POTA, Waltons, Happy Days, AJ, Dinah-mite. I don't know if I will ever be able to "collect them all", but I would if I could!
