Heart How do you store you collections ?

Me I have a toy room of sorts with shelf's and display cabinets and i have a lot of my posters(vintage 70s ones) and mags in frames , and love to have most of my stuff out on show , love having it about me , i love the facts my toy collection is random from all different years , i even enjoy the upkeep of it all , sorting it protecting it , its sort of taken over a lot of my house , do you ever get sick of it? or go on a guilt trip over spending so much time with them? , some times i display certain games or figures and then move them around to display others my most precious figures i hardly handle and if there mint in the box I wont open ? what would you do if you found a holly grail but it was trapped in the box would you open it? i will post pictures soon my room is not perfect but i like it :P

I used to display some of my Micronaut/Microman and related toys in a display case, but they got dusty easy. I got tired of having to take everything out and dust everything off. Furthermore, the figures that didn't have a stand would fall over and it was easy to knock over other toys; they'd fall over like dominoes. Now I keep everything in the closet in plastic storage tubs and cases. In fact, whenever I buy something online, I keep the cardboard boxes to store things. Even better when they come with bubble wrap. Ultimately, what I keep out eventually gets knocked over by the cat.

My best stuff is sitting on a shelf or hanging on a wall. The rest is in tupperware.

I am blessed with many children who love daddy's playroom. All of my toys our on shelves, pegs, or display cases. Intermixed with the toys are arcade games that the kids truly enjoy. We added Direct TV on a good size screen in there recently, so the entire room has turned into a well decorated toy/game/entertainment room for everyone to enjoy.

I enjoy displaying my collection but I hate clutter so I do not put too much on display because if it gets too busy it annoys me.

I have a bookcase which I display my carded Star Wars figures in and a Ikea detolf for my Mego WGSH/related items. The Detolf sits atop a table which on the lower level has an EMCE Star Trek Bridge w/original Mego crew and Sulu. Everything else is plastic tub, no other display space available at the moment.

I keep all of my toys in storage. Their in dragon cases and acrylic cases. I do have a place to display my stuff which every once in a while I change.
