With all the nonsensical toys running about like Hulk Utility belts, it's nice to see logical roll play items like this Emergency set. Although I doubt the guys from Rampart wore pictures of themselves on their helmets. That's a weird thing that would always bother me as a kid.....

It always bugged me that the helmets and such had to have stupid pictures of the actors on them. Always took away from the realism.

As a kid, I didn't like the deviation from what something really looked like (i.e. picture of Jon and Roy on that helmet, Stamping the Star Trek name on a phaser toy) now, it's nostalgically endearing to see that.

I was a huge emergency and swat fan still have my severly beat up squad 51 truck (no lights but it has 2 doors) and roy & gage. my brother was gage I was roy. we had paramedic kits and emergecny walkit talkies and the helmets man when i heard the kalxon we were glued to the set. in my 20's it reran on tv land and i was 5 again it was awesome and the show still holds up

I always wanted to be Gage, Hardy Girl! There are pictures of me somewhere with that helmet on, a FP stethoscope around my neck and the bullhorn in hand. I also had the air tank with the mask. I had one of those great Fisher Price medical kits, too. Later Ohio Art came out with a cool paramedic set (defibrillator and all). All of those items saw heavy use. Ragedy Andy was often the victim/patient.

I played "Emergency!" every afternoon as I watched the series in the 70's and erly 80's. I've been obcessed with the series for my entire life....lol
