    Need help with vintage toy.

I need help finding some info, a pic, anything on a toy I got for Christmas one year.

It was a roughly 8" candy dispenser that looked like a mix of Darth Vader and Knight of Darkness from Star Team. He was like an action figure, excpet his body was clear and full of mini chicklet like candies.

    Any clue??

That has to be Chewgum Warriors. I don't have any information on it, other than this photo I found online years ago.

Holy crap, I had one of those as a kid and forgot all about it. Thanks for the pic, it's always cool rediscovering a toy I used to have, no matter how cheap and cheesy.

I had one of those too (the Chewgum Warrior)! Got it at Circus World toys in Tyrone Mall, St. Peterburg, Florida circa 1980- it was hanging on the wall with a bunch of other cheap carded toys just next the the register. I recall the arms broke soon after I got it.

Wow- releasing old stored memories like that is such a rush!

Suppose 'Chewgum Warriors' is a play on words; 'Showgun Warriors'? Looks more like a cross between Darth Vader and a Humanoid from The Black Hole.

Count - I believe I had the same thing you are talking about and my parents got it from Walgreens. I believe the figure was a little smaller than 8 inches (maybe 6-7). It had black arms and legs, a cape, and a clear chest with candy in it. The head was rounded and had a mirrored face plate for a face. The plate was removable but there was just a hole behind it. I think it had some kind of posts in the hands so you could connect it to another figure. There was also a square headed, claw handed, purple robot that went with it. I hope that helps.
