    Plaid Stallions Leather Jacket Perfection

As much I enjoy the mockery, the one part I take pretty seriously are early to mid seventies leather jackets, to me, they are a zenith of cool. My closet is full of them much to the chagrin of my normally understanding wife. When she does eventually throw me out, my front lawn will look like a Serpico convention.

The guy on the far left reminds me of the reporter from the original Death Race movie.

I had one like this when I was a kid. It was cozy. But I outgrew it...I miss that coat.

There's a flea market dealer near me with racks of these. I love and try on almost everything he has. Problem is they almost never fit! I did snag a really cool suede version like the one on the left. Its beat to poo but I love it!

You might want to correct the title: "Leather Jacker". Sounds dirty...

I think the title "Leather Jacker Perfection" adds to it's charm.

I sometimes write the blog very late at night and give it another pass a month or so later, it's not fool proof.
