At MegoMeet, Dave and Jason revealed the next upcoming 8-inch limited monsters from Cast-A-Way... The Hunchback of Notre-Dame and The Phantom of the Opera!





Phantom's funky face coloration is a nod to the AHI/Tomland monsters. If I understood Dave properly, these guys should be out this summer, as part of their ongoing Creepy Classics line. I'm not certain if these names I've used here will be their release names.

I'm really looking forward to both! Although I might repaint Phantom's head. I wonder how a hunch could be added to Quasimodo?

I like Phantom's head, and the color concept, but it's a little to... extreme for my tastes. I'll be inclined to paint him a pale, unhealthy flesh - maybe with a hint of purple 'bruising' or something icky. And steely silver hair.

Gotta save my pennies!

purple face....green hair...yellow eyes...yellow cape....sorry this doesn't work.......take a better look at the Lincoln Phantom.

The purple is a little too dark. Perhaps a Lavender or Fuscia would be better?

If they loosened the Phantom's cape just one button more, he wouldn't look this purple. He just needs to catch his breath!

If the color scheme would be toned down just a bit, I'd definitely want one...
