Buster Crabb as Flash Gordon, by Cast-A-Way!

At MegoMeet on Saturday, Cast-A-Way revealed their official Buster Crabbe Flash Gordon figures!

They've got an amazing 12 inch figure packaged with 2 uniforms - both Earthly and outer-space pilot uniforms - diecast weapons and a small model of Flash's space ship. Everything looks gorgeous and authentic, from the box to the accessories. This is currently slated for sometime in July.






CAW also revealed an 8" version in the space outfit. It looks great! A release date is still in development as they work out manufacturing. The prototype looked ready to go, though!

No doubt Flash looks amazing, the details on the costume are fantastic. But who is that Phantom next to him (also with a great costume)?

So they took over the 1/6th series from that other company? Getting into the 1/6th market will really push castaway up the ladder.

Those pics are great! I hadn't seen him close up like that yet. Dave and Jason have knocked this one out of the park! Love the aviator outfit on the 12" figure too!!!

Wow, I really want the 1/6 version. Hoping it's not too expensive. Kind of interesting given that another company is producing something similar. Cast-a-way's looks great. Can't wait to hear more details.

I suggested this character in an Castaway wish list thread few years ago... So, I canīt be happier!
I hope Charles Middleton Ming will be next, and some other Flash Gordon principal characters. To me, Universal and Republic serial characters are the best ones for the 8" format and style.
