    Hobby City

Wow! I spent the day at Hobby City in Anaheim, CA and boy oh boy do they have quite a Doll and Toy Museum! It's tons of fun! They have stuff dating back to the 1700s along with GI Joe and a small amount of Megos and all kinds of great looking stuff. I took some pics to share with y'all. The displays are inspiring. Turns out the place was started by one woman who recently died at 89 years old. She collected for years and years and made a museum to share her collection. There's also a great little kid theme park with rides right next door. Check it out!

If you can figure out who is in the Enterprise Transporter, please let me know. I couldn't escape the foggy effect on some of the glass...sorry.

That looks like an awesome place, thanks for sharing the pictures Bryan. The Japanese "castle" is very authentic looking. My sister is going to Anaheim in a couple of weeks, I'll tell her about this place now.

There are 4 toy stores with all the old stuff we love within 1/2 mile of Hobby City! If your sister is a collector or just wants to score you some stuff, definitely check them out. :-)

Why couldn't I hear about these places before I moved North to the Bay Area?!? AAAaaarrrgghh!

But seriously, that looks like a really cool place to visit. I'll have to add it to my itinerary the next time I head south.
