On TCM now, Japanese Monster flicks

OK, so I'm scanning through the channels and TCM has as of right now (7pm) is Rodan, Ghidorah 3 Headed Monster, and Godzilla vs. Monster Zero. I used to babysit some boys who used to love watching these kinda movies at my house while chowing down on cheeseburgers and chocolate milk.

'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

The only thing I miss about not having cable is TCM. I would pay for half a subscription if I could only get that channel!

I used to like a lot of these as a kid but today some are hard to watch.

Weird thing is they are being shown in letterbox, but the version they're showing havent been cleaned up at all.

They need more contrast --- most seem way too soft

I will never tire of of Godzilla movies but it would be sweet if they played many of Toho's movies. They really have a great catalog of movies that they never play using many of the actors that appeared in Godzilla movies......

For anyone with Comcast On Demand there's several G-movies on there now. They are the recent ones from the late 90's and early 2000's.

"Godzilla: Final Wars." A fave of mine.... just 'cos of all the monsters. Even the battlin' bushonen squad didn't irritate me. Plus; Captain Gordon facing down Godzilla with a sword.
