Trek Scotty from the Undiscovered Country

When I am in the mood to sew, which is a rare thing, I can make whatever costume suits my fancy. Today my fancy was Scotty's jacket. I have always wanted to make one and since today is one of those rare days, tadah!! I just have to add belt loops and sculpt the belt buckle, but jacket's basically done. Oh yeah..pants...but that's for another day. I'll probably replace that epaulet with something metallic.

Kingdom Warrior had said that the figure was one of the 3 stooges, and he was the only fat figure laying around in Ape City.

    Nice work Jess,

Oh and thanks for the tips on head shrinking!! I just so happen to be working on that same out fit. I got my first draft finished today ( I'll add pics later).

I desided to make mine out of a red felt, for some reason I just liked the look better. Question for you Jess what did you use for the neck? I thought about a pice of a baby sock cause I really want to see the design for the neck.

Baby socks would work for the neck. Also a wife beater shirt. Anything that has tiny ribbing. It's actually just a collar and no shirt under there. When you work in this scale, sometimes an illusion is all you need.
