    Finally re/discovered non-toy childhood grail!

I've been trying to find this book for years. Had NO IDEA what it would be called or especially who did the illustrations. Been getting more into vintage childrens illustrations in recent years so was bound to come across Ed Emberley eventually. any other 70's kids have this when they were little?

Also just got the awesome print collection Monster Parade- a tribute to Ed Emberley limited to 250 copies.

    What a neat book.

I want to say I might have seen one as a kid. from the libarary?

    Could still use one.

    I'm terrible at drawing cars . . . . . . .

Loved those books as a kid. We had that one and then another one that focused on character/face drawings. Spent a lot of time with those two books during childhood.

Wish I'd known you were looking for it, I have an extra *VERY* worn copy around here somewhere. Got it in a library purge.

My non-toy holy grail is also something along those lines, the "Vision On - A Book of Nonsense with Some Sense in It" book. Tony Hart held a copy in his hand during one of the seasons end credits.
