Commando Cody/Rocketman

I am new here and was wondering if anyone has done a commando cody/rocket man from the serial [I]Radar Men From The Moon? I am in the process of doing one myself. Just wondered what you used to make the helmet. Thanks

I'm planning on doing one myself. the knights Ivanhoe helmet is a good base for the helmet. the front piece could be scratch built and added to it....

Hey Thanks,
I actually ordered the medieval helmet from Dr. Mego today. It looks like it might be pretty close to commando cody's. Of course some modification will have to be done. Thanks again!!

I would like to know what sort of glue the guy in the link used.
Whenever i touch superglue to acetate It gets cloudy.

I started one about 3 years ago, using the same helmet.

I filled in the gaps in with Milliput and made new eye and mouth holes.
The jacket was from a Bratz Boy and the rocket pack from an Adam Strange figure.

I started to make one last week. I had to order some things from Dr.Mego.(suit, shoes, helmet, and weapon). While I am waiting on these things to arrive, I made the jet pack and the chest control piece. I bought a black pleather jacket off of ebay. Don't laugh, it was actually a Barbie jacket. I had to take it in a little in the sleeves and the waist, but the length was perfect. Now, I am just waiting for the rest of my stuff to complete him. I will post pictures when he is finished.
