Thanks for all the kind words. I made a couple little tweaks to the design yesterday to incorporate some info i felt needed to be included on the card pertaining to Series and year the figures were released. Plan on getting everything to the printer sometime today. I promise there will be enough to go around .
Something i didn't mention before, and it may not be obvious to someone not familiar with the line..... the info on the back of the trading card was taken from the figure's bio card that appears on the back of the original card backs. So if there is some funny wording, it wasn't my doing . Like someone said a couple posts back.... it is an homage to the original packaging from the Super Powers line.
Thanks again for the comments. I am anxious to see how this first card comes out after printing. Once i know it is good to go, it will be fairly simple (at least compared to the first one) to put out additional cards in the set since i essentially now have a template.Vintage Toy Rescue

Close, but not yet. Just got back from the printer and apparently i now need to figure out how to lay out these bad boys 9-up on a page and add crop marks or "bleed" . Oh well, i needed something to do tonight anyway . Oh, and i need to figure out what card stock i want. The machine they have there will only do digital printing up to 100# and i thought that felt too thin. She showed me some glossy business cards that were 16 point (why we're talking point now and not # is beyond me, but whatever ) and that thickness seemed more appropriate. Anyone know for sure what weight card stock i should use? If i go the thicker route, they will be printed off site, but for the same price i was quoted for the thinner stock. So that's what i'm inclined to do, even though the turn around will be "a little longer".
I'm going to put this in a seperate thread since it is buried here on page 4 or 5. I need to get some answers so i can finish them up tonight and get back to the printer tomorrow.Vintage Toy Rescue

Photoshop is not an easy program to learn. Good job teaching yourself. And it looks like you did a great job. The more you use it, the better you will get with it.Comment

Mr Miracle Figure
Hello Bill ,
I have an original "Mr Miracle" figure -loose , no cape ,no manacles , that i'd be willing to "loan" him to you if you need him for photos to make up a card.
I'd be very interested in a set of cards

Bet ya'll thought i'd forgotten about these . At long last, we are close to having another couple Super Powers trading cards! I had to skip #3, The Flash, for now because i wasn't happy with the pic i had of him. He will not be forgotten though. These have not gone to the printer yet as i'm still tweaking them and i need to do the card back for Robin still. Won't be long now though. I was just excited to finally get working on these again and i wanted to share some prototype pics.
I really wanted to do a gray background for Bats. I'm torn on this one...... I like it, but i don't .
I played around with the background color and tried something to match his cape. Honestly, i think this card "pops" a little better than the other one. But, i still like the gray background too. So, i'm thinking about a limited run on the gray one and having our first variant card.
We can't have the Batman card being released without his sidekick!
