Sean Casey's Tornado Alley is in IMAX theaters NOW!

This is the film Sean Casey of the TV Series Storm Chasers has been putting together for over 4 + years. Now you can see the incredible footage Sean has been capturing from his Tornado Intercept Vehicle in IMAX format. The trailer hints at really impressive footage. This slipped by me as the film was released March 18th. Check your local Imax listings for it.

I might check it out. Tornadoes fascinate me and terrify me in equal doses.

I saw my first IMAX movie Friday in New Orleans. It was the undersea movie, narrated by Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet.

They showed a preview of one coming up about the Grand Canyon.

I saw the film last night. I expected a little more storm footage from Sean Casey. Time was spent on some of the players, the fleet of vehicles, the construction of the T.I.V. Still the footage they did use was no less impressive. Josh Warman's role seems somewhat diminished compared with some other guy involved w/Vortex 2. Reed Timmer and his group are not mentioned at all.

The Imax I saw this at was a Dome Imax at a Aviation Museum in Long Island, NY, but it still blew me away. The narration is by Bill Paxson of course, (Twister). I had trouble hearing him speak when other, louder things were happening on-screen.
