      Neat looking set.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That is really cool. I've never seen that before. I had a few Joe toys growing up with my favorite being the Sea Wolfe. So, I gotta ask...if this is your second favorite...

What is your favorite play set?

Sweet... I woke up with just the straight helicopter version. Still have it with the box as well. My biggest treat was getting the mobile communications vehicle with it. I still have it and the box. GI Joe was a staple during Christmas back in the early 70's. Magical times. Thanks for sharing!

Does the chopper have a button that makes the blades spin?
That was always a MUST for me and Helicopters!

Did the Black Dragon gang steal it? Wasnt that the mysterious bad guys for the "real" A Team?

The ONLY Joe set I ever got for Christmas was the AT headquarters.. It was super, dont' get me wrong, but I was VERY irked that my parents threw out the box.

Sweet gesture, having it all set up for me, and very grateful.., but would have loved the big box with all the cool graphics as well.

I DREAMED of having a vehicle for them.. They had to walk everywhere until I plucked down my meager allowance and got the Ariel Recon set.

'Cept for the first Talking AT Commander, I had to buy the additional two figures myself as well..

Yes there is a button that makes the blades spin, it on the other side. If you had a good finger ( thumb for me ) you could get the blades spinning quite fast. I guess that's why the blades have rubber tips.

I had just the straight chopper as a kid ( sold it, boxed, on ebay over 10 years ago ). A few years ago Hallmark had a Christmas onament of the Chopper and I bought that.
