CK or early Supes head.Scroll over in the link above and look at the CU for yo'self.Regardless...he's a true beautiful and rare early Mego.

Nothing rare but I'm psyched to add a Cap Bend N Flex to my collection. It's something I've been wanting for a while now. A BIG thanks to Roberto (Blue Meanie) for all the help he's given me lately! Sure I still need an original star and shield for the Ledy and shields for the CAH and Pocket Heroes (and yes, the FF card is repro darn it) but I'm patient and will get them completed someday. Meanwhile, I'm a happy camper!

A big spectacular addition for me (no pics yet..)..:

Finally acquired one of those Minty Trek Neptunians from an eBay auction. He is a beaut. I do see a tad bit of fade lines in his webbing (like he was in front of a window with arms down/web folded..), but he's still a cool addition to my limited vintage Trek line.

I've made some custom strapping for the minature Playmates tricorders as well, so I'll post some pics of everything soon.

True.
But it didn't start out that way.
It was first offered to sears as a Boys spy Action figure playset (most parts are in mego scale)but was turned down for reasons unknown.
But was offered as a barbie type playset and sears pick it up.
to include the Top secret file cabinet and desk with the Spy equipment graphics .
The problem is that the cabinet and desk were card borad and never survived 30 years.
and commands high prices during bidding wars.

Didn't Sears try to sell this with the 12" Mego Wonder Woman. It also reminds me of the Space Command Center released in the 1979 Sears Christmas/1980 Sears Toy Catalog (pg620), that they show with a Mego Captain Kirk. It was originally released as a recording studio different background in which had Donnie and Marie figure in.

Also got this guy. Not a Mego but he's cool anyway. Some of you may recall me asking who the camo shirt went to. I got it in a lot of AJ clothes. Was pointed out it went to an AHI ape. So I found one with just a worn undershirt on ebay and bought it. I took the pants off my AHI wolfman and had a spare set of fonz boots. The shirt is a little rough around the collar but I think he still stands out.

Is there a specific thread like this for Mego-like figures (non-Mego acquisitions) or do you guys mind if I post them here? I have accumulated quite a few lately and like to share.
Of course now that I have most of the stuff I've been after I will start taking those pics for the toyroom.
