"knight's"-type chainmail knit?

Is there anything out there that duplicates vintage chainmail knits?

I'm looking for a similar material, but in yellow/gold and green.

There were some wrestling figures from years ago (Paco?) that had colored capes that were verry similar to the knight's knit.

have you tried micro knitting? It may work, depending on what you want. They sell size 0000 knitting pins.

I got something in siver/black that I used on Captain America. I spray painted it blue and it held the color.

I'm a complete fumble fingers when it comes to knitting.

I prefer crocheting, but have never worked with anything in that small of a scale before.
