I think pretty much all the reMego companies would like a crack at SMDM, as much as we'd like for them to make them. I'm not sure why we haven't heard anything. It might be just a pain in the butt to get the license, I don't know.

Anyway, I think one stand-alone Billy Jack figure would be the ultimate in retro. I'd buy one.

I'd love True Blood, A Larry David Figure and any and all Star Trek.

Would also love a Dick Tracy.

On the "NEVER EVER GONNA HAPPEN" list in my wildest dreams I'd love to see Arrested Development figures. But that's just like the conversation people have about what they'd do with lottery winnings.....

I'd buy Gob in a minute if he came with a Segway. I'd probably get Tobias (the "analrapist" analyst/therapist) if he was in 1) his Blue Man costume or 2) cut-off denim shorts.

I would LOVE to see the SMDM and Lost in Space. I think those two series have enormous fan bases that would support an action figure line. BUT... the one I'm surprised no one has tried to hop on is Kolchak:The Nightstalker. Think about it. You could have the action figure and then make all sorts of monsters from that original series! I would think that license would be obtainable at a good price and popular with collectors.

Oh---I'd buy Kolchak, especially if they have some of the other characters from the show (whose names evade me), but think of the cool playset you could build for 'em.! While we're all here wishing, howabout MEGOized ALIENS (including, of course, Ripley and people from both ALIEN and ALIENS), John Carpenter's THE THING (I'd snatch up a Kurt Russell MEGO from that in a minute) and WAREHOUSE 13 on SyFy. Then, just for yucks and yahoos, let's get literal and do some Mego figures based off some Stephen King properties. I'd go apes**t for a MEGOized "Walkin' Dude," and some folks from the Dark Tower series....

P.S. If yer gonna do Kolchak, ya gotta do his Mustang too, though!
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

Ditto on that, but ONLY if they make an appropriately sized Mystery Machine for 'em to tool around in....!

Speaking of the Scoobs, I'd like to see both ANGEL and BUFFY MEGOs. They would rock!!!

Personally I would love to see Nick Jr.'s "The Fresh Beat Band" Mego-ized. That way we could a brand new generation tuned into the format from an early age. Hook 'em when their young! Plus these four characters i think would easily translate well.

They would appeal to today's kids and they are good for custom fodder.
