Those are actually a little larger than the original Aurora models. I am not sure the scale.

It looks like these new ones are closer to the original scale. Although the Comic Scenes Cap did not come with the water splashes or the name plate. I gotta get the Wonder Woman they just released.

They say 1/8th scale. What were the originals scale?

Not sure about the scale size on the originals but the PL ones are much bigger.

  4. These are the same exact PL releases from years ago, except Cap has a new head, and the new/old box styles. They are bigger than orig AURORAs... they are 1:8 scale.

Here's my original AURORA Cap that I restored a few years back, 1:12 scale I believe.

It's funny.. I only saw the Hulk and Spiderman as a kid (for the Marvel ones..).

As much as I loved Cap as a kid, I never saw him. Ironic..

My buddy did once on a trip to Canada, but wasn't able to pick him up.

I never really got into models as a kid, I liked things I could play with. But I think these would be fun to do now, especially with my daughter.

Brian (Palitoy) posted here how he enjoyed building monster models with his kids, and so it inspired me to do the same. My son and I have built/painted The Mummy, Frankenstein, and now Dracula. It's a lot of fun, and teaches kid some good skills, and patience!
