    Toys on Canvas

One of my budding interests is painting classic toys on canvas. i haven't got much skill and it's been 21 years since my last fine arts course (even then I was more apt to draw unflattering caricatures of the instructors than paying attention). None the less, it's been kind of rewarding and I've turned the kids to it as well.

Today was art day and this was my project, the Lincoln Monsters Mummy box. I find the art simple enough to try and tackle, I'm not quite done with this guy but it was a fun day making this happen.

Awesome, dude!!! One of my favorite pieces to stare at, too.

Gotta admit the Jet Jungle is distracting me. . . .!!!. . .

Thanks for the kind words folks, I decided this round to do something different, a still life of sorts. Wind up Dr Zaius kind of appealed to me and provided me with enough of a challenge to try and capture him. Not entirely successful but a fun use of time.

Neato! nice work! I've drawn Barbie, Lilli and Bulletman never painted toys on canvas before but this is pretty neat.....I'm digging it.

Nice! You've captured the charm of both toys. Very expressive.
