Thanks, that's really what I want to get across here.

The nice bi-product of all of this (other than the quiet time with the kids) is the amount of customs head painting I get done along side. I'm finally getting caught up.

Very cool. I love old-school toy box/package art. Especially Ben Cooper stuff from the 60's and 70's.

Um, actually, the mummy and Zaius are both pretty dang good -- esp. for someone who hasn't been painting in awhile.

You oughta think about doing some canvases of those crazy catalog fashions you post up here all the time. Do 'em on velvet!

                Kudos!

Hey, they both turned out really nice. Any more Lincoln art in store? Those paintings are just so unique. And just get some more practice under your belt and you can try tackling one of the Gray Morrow Mad Monster paintings. That would be a challenge for anyone!

I want to do them all eventually, I chose the Mummy because he's a less complex character but I need to tackle Frankenstein.

Been since the summer since I picked up my brushes, I finally found some motivation when the kids asked me to paint with them today. I chose the Tomland Wolfman as a subject.

The Glow in the Dark plastic of his face made for a challenge, then I got a good idea:
