I am Soooo newbie at the behind the scenes shark deal, I'm sure I pretty much botched the whole effort. In hindsight I would have played my hand differently if I had a minute to think about it, but the clock was ticking.
I also knew I was hosed because by the time I got to the listings (fourteen minutes after they were posted) they already had 8 views. There was no way I'd get a deal done - but I made my offer anyway.

It's been a jazillion refreshes later on my ebay message inbox with no joy - The auctions are pulled, and I know that someone with more liquid assets nabbed them.

As soon as they were pulled I checked the sellers closed listings to see if someone talked them into BIN, but they didn't. So either the flurry of activity made them pull the items until some research could be done, or (and this is my guess) someone made the best offer and they took it off-eBay. Either way I know they'll go now for more than I can spend, so it's safe to post. I'm just dying to find out who got them if it's a MM member!

If it's Scout's Honor, I've always been in that club too... This is the first time (probably last?) I've ever made a request - but in this case they had no bidders and I had asked the seller strictly if they'd consider a BIN sale conversion (which is a toggle you can do as seller before items have first bids).

The fact that they were ended instead of Sold as BIN, as well as not being relisted leads me to believe it was taken private. which is a shame, because I'd still like to know what they went for. I would have liked to watch the auction play out too.

I hope they re-list cause I need the Parker Head that was in the Superman auction. That's all I need is that head and I'm finished with the AE's.

The way I've dealt with similar auctions is to throw down a massive bid if it's sitting at zero and then message the seller. This way, if they kill it and go private, you can bang on them about it until they cough up some info since it's technically illegal. It puts them in a bind where they either throw it back up for auction at some absurd price or really make the private buyer pay out more than they offered.

Toth - you should send her a message and tell her how much the street value is and you hope she got somewhere near that. It could monkey-wrench the whole deal.

Wonder where the rest of them are. Looks like hes got a complete figure from each 2 pack in there. Plus a BW head. Could the suits be around as well? These were probably swallowed up already but in the event they weren't I'm sure that Parker head will be reunited with the outfit to make a complete set if relisted.

I would, but there's no way I could afford street value anyway!

That's a good strategy on the opening bid though... good advice.

Stabilio - Yeah, there's a complete Parker and complete Grayson... There was a fourth fig lot but it was a T1 RC bats no RC with a rough suit... They could have both been leftover RC heads (by which I mean the kid may have ditched the two boring guys in suits figures early on... who knows) There was one lot with a tarzan jumper, an AJ baseball top and an American west shirt, and that was kind of it. It seemed odd that all the mego stuff was misidentified when she had no problem figuring out the Big Jim stuff though.
