Scariest Movie You Saw Under The Age Of 12?

I remember seeing "Race with the Devil" with Hotlips (Switt). That is the scariest movie I remember seeing as a kid.

    What is yours?

I went to see Jaws when I was 11 (my aunt took me and my cousin). I don't believe we realised how scary that movie was to a couple of 11 year olds in "75. I still remember every time that music started, you could see half the people in the aisle pulling their legs up into the seats (to keep away from the shark!) JOHN

I would have to say The Night Stalker pilot. That flick even holds up today.

Freddy Kruger scared the sh*t outta me. I was too young to be watching that stuff. I love them movies now.

Our house master at boarding school showed us some scary crap for our age, but the worst had to be "salems lot" I couldnt sleep for weeks, and I had my bed next to the window in the dormitory.

When I was 5 or 6 I watched Disney's "Scarecrow of Romney Marsh" and that laugh by Patrick McGoohan scared the bejeebers outta me. It still gives me a chill, but in a cooler way now.

Me three. I just picked-up the DVD from Big Lots, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet to see how it holds up.

The Daleks in Dr Who, we all hid behind the sofa when they appeared.

This is a tough one. I saw Jaws in a tiny little beach theater in Lewes, Delaware and it took me 20 years to get back in the ocean past my ankles. It half ruined the rest of the week at the beach. I saw Salem's Lot also, and the scene where Barlow pops out in front of Larry Crockett had me cleaning my pants. However:

The movie that I lost the most sleep over, just because I was scared to go to sleep, was Rosemary's Baby. So I gotta give that one the edge.

My older cousins took my younger brother and I to see Alien in its original cinema release. We were 8 and 6 respectively.

I think my mum assumed it would be like that nice Star Wars movie...

I believe 'The Omen', but I can't recall whether I was 12 or not..

Either that or 'Tommy'.. My older brother took me to see it and I wasn't sure what to think about the 'Acid Queen'.

I do recall having nightmares about the 'Posideon Adventure'.
