    Space 1999 Doctor Russell

For anyone interested, here is my solution for making a Doctor Russell to go with the CTVT Space 1999 figures. The head is from the old Mattel figure, when you pop off the head there is a neck hole that fits a mego style neck. The head is about the same size as Sandra. The collar of the top covers up the difference in styles of head.

The size isn't bad at all. In fact, it looks a little better in size than the Sandra head.

Nice! One question: Does CTVT sell a white-sleeved uniform like that? Or did you customize it?

No there is no white sleeve top available, I customized it. I used a yellow sleeve top and white fabric paint.
I was surprised that the head match in size to the other female heads.

I think CTVT sells a headless female body with that complete uniform. I don't sew but maybe it wouldn't be too much effort to undo the sleeve and replace it with a white one? Maybe some member here on the board with sewing ability could do it for you.

I'm gonna do that right when I get home, I have a Doc Russell just sitting in a drawer with no plans.

Looks great but didn't she always wear slacks? I can't remember exactly but I thought she never wore a dress.

She wore slacks in the first season, as did all the females. In the second season the women wore skirts.
