I am a fan of Space 1999 and all I can say is EXCELLENT!! I've been putting something together for my set of figures but this takes the cake. Wish it was for sale.

For anyone interested - the Dr. Russell head from the old Mattel figure is the same size as the Sandra head from CTVT and the hole in the bottom fits a Mego neck. Needs a top with a collar to hide the differences in how the head is made but it dosen't look to bad. I'll post a pic.

Very nice. You captured the look of the show. All you need is a retro style box to put it in.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

I am a big fan of Space 1999. You really did it justice! That is awesome to say the least.

I to would like to see that produced in quantity some day.

Looks amazing, Mike, very well designed. I'm sorry it can't be Didafied.

It's a really, really terrific job! Also I hate to go geek on you but what you made represents the first season's Main Mission location. Command Center came in season 2, had no windows and was overall smaller.

Good eye! I decided to call it Control Center as kind of a generic labeling of the set since I'd be displaying both season 1 and season 2 figures. I honestly was not even a very big fan of Space 1999 until the CTVT figures came out and I was buying them for custom parts. I didn't even remember it as a kid. I decided to start watching the episodes on dvd and, after a while, the series kind of grew on me. I even bought the DVD set. I've decided that I enjoy the season 1 episodes much more than season 2's.

If you have HD and blu ray the first season is out on blu ray and the quality is a big jump because those (USA) DVD's were sourced from older transfers.

Beautiful work, Mike. As a Space:1999 fan, I find it really inspiring. I really should restart work on my display set.
