Thread: AJ Footlocker Dimensions?

  1. #1

    AJ AJ Footlocker Dimensions?

I tried to make an AJ jumpsuit...fail

I tried to make a cast of AJ's head...epic fail!

now, I think I can make an reproduction of an AJ footlocker....That item is a bit elusive on ebay.

Can somebody with one post some pics and/or the dimensions? Now, that, I think I can do! Thanks!

p.s. I've always wanted a g.i. joe footlocker, too but never got one of those either.

...maybe I'll get an old wooden GI Joe footlocker from e-bay and make a scaled down version for AJ...

It looks very similar to GI Joe's locker.

I've made a few after taking apart an old one. They're kinda tricky to sew 'cos they got this weird valley fold on the front flaps. Did you make a pattern off an old one?

Really? They're kinda round and bulbous, so they're easy to make molds of.... if you already know how to make molds. How'd you go about doing your try?

Well, they weren't my best efforts. I had some plaster around and some extra blocks of sculpey. I made the molds out of the plaster and pressed soft sculpey into the molds and put it in the oven. What came out resembled Han Solo when he was frozen in Empire Strikes Back!

The jumpsuit...well, my daughter and I tried with her new sewing machine using a pattern from the site here. It's laughable.

We're not licked yet! I just need to get a proper mold & cast kit (aluminite, maybe) and give the jumpsuit another try maybe hand sewn this time.

Thanks for squaring me away with the footlocker, folks! You guys are great!
