Just booked a good deal in Costa Mesa (about 4 miles from Sandy's studio) through Hotels.com for $53! For a holiday weekend! Woo-Hoo!"Do you believe, you believe in magic?

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

No, no... It's more of a casual get together. Just friends hanging out at my studio, talking megos. I'll have giveaways and swag bags, but I won't be selling anything. It's just a social thing. 12-15 people, max.
You are still more than welcome to come.

Hey Guys and gals-- I really need a solid head count for this. I just got a message from Hector and it doesn't look like he's gonna make it. So far, the only real confirmation I have is Sharry. I'd need at LEAST a half dozen to make this happen and I kinda need to know as soon as possible. I got a lot of PM's from people with "maybe's", but I really need to know what's up, so I can move forward or pull the plug.
Thanks,

Oh c'mon you guys! I'm still coming (if it's alright w/ Sandy) regardless of who is or isn't coming, but I'm thinking if Sandy cares enough to spring for swag and food and so forth, us West Coasters can fly or drive down to So. Cal. for this thing. A lot of us aren't going to Mego Meet, so this was a good solution for those who couldn't go to that. *sigh* This is just plain disappointing."Do you believe, you believe in magic?

This thing about my ongoing medical problems is beyond my control...to think it almost killed me back in 2004...I'm not taking any chances.
That's why I'm on disability, folks...you should see my medical history...people get truly shocked when they read it...it's not like I suffered from a common cold...you know. I did go through five major surgeries in a one year period...I practically lived at the hospital during that time.
Sorry folks...but I'm not pre-2004 Hector.
The good news...my surgeon has assured me that this will be the last surgery for this particular procedure...just one more hurdle to jump...and I should be close to semi-normal once and for all.
I'd give my entire Superman collection and my Mustang...to be the Hector prior to 2004.sigpicComment
