That's really awesome! The pre-school I worked in in 1990 had TONS of those sets. I find it interesting that there would be a drive-in movie set made in 1990. I wish I had some as a kid.

Sorry the link does not work for some of you. Had to use the aol picture gallery because of the 80+ pictures. If anyone can recommend a good gallery webpage that can be easily viewed I will put the pictures there. If you are a myspace user you can view the pictures in my pics gallery on my myspace page. www.myspace.com/grayhank

Very nice collection. I'm impressed that all of it's in such nice condition. I had several of those sets as a kid, and none of them looked that nice.

One question - on your castle set, do the beds still have the foam on them? I've never seen any that still do.

Again, a really nice collection, and it's making me nostalgic. I can hear Ebay calling me...

Thanks, I have been buying pieces up like crazy on ebay over the past several months. I keep upgrading pieces here and there so they are accurate to the set and are in near mint condition.

Unfortunately the foam on the beds (of any set) are near impossible to find in perfect condition. The foam deteriorates over time to the point if you touch it, it immediately crumbles to pieces. (Anyone with a vintage Star Wars Dagobah playset can relate to this I'm sure). I have found a great rubberized foam that I use for a replacement on my sets. Aside from the foam on the beds, the only thing that is not original to these sets is the shoe string on the two "Lacing Shoe" sets.

That was what I was kind of expecting. I've got an old Star Wars Death Star, and I've been seeing the exact same thing happen to the "trash" from the compactor for the past few years.

Of course, the beds with the castle I'd had lost their foam long ago because somebody had picked at it until it came off. No idea who, of course...
