    Hmmmm....

If you're looking for a definitive treatsie on zombies:

    http://www.palladiumbooks.com/Mercha...gory_Code=D230

Since it's a game and requires one person to come up with stories, etc. it goes into a lot of detail abot a lot of things. The extra books cover lots of things regarding survival and hiding. And they've "fleshed out" some stuff on zombies. (Such as: how they see.) Specific to the ghouls of the setting, but lots of it couild apply to any zombie horde.

I liked World War Z for a treatise on the overall strategies of Zombie warfare and a pretty good overall zombie novel.

I would sit on my roof happily watching the neighborhood Yuppies get eaten then blow my brains out.
Life sucks enough without the undead, I'm not going to fight to stay here.

    Hey,
While a lot of scenarios will still end with the same kind of actions, it really depends alot on the KIND of zombie outbreak. Are you dealing with a virus? Fast or slow zombies? Real undead vs infected alive humans? Pieces still alive (Night of the Living Dead), headshot/burning destroys (most zombie scenarios), infection only by bite vs infection by any body fluid on you, etc.
Mostly, I would probably hold up in a secure area for about a week to let the initial hysteria die down, either by people getting everything under control or the hole enchilada falling apart and the initial running and dying of the lemmings become a thing of the past. Once that time had past, then it would be time to assess the situation, fortify yourself with weapons and supplies and get the heck out of a populated area and look for a better place to start again.

    Hey Part II,
Do you ever get the feeling that if this ever were to really happen, there would be WAY TO MANY people that would have thought it through and have a viable plan for survival?
I really need to get a life.

i would raid the local armory and stock up on as many weapons and ammo as possible, then raid the local supermarket and stock up....then I would barricade my house and sit in the third floor windows taking target practice on all the walkers......
oh yeah, and I'd make sure to find a hottie to be in my barricaded house with me too......a guy has needs you know....LOL
