A Tribute to Bad 70's Fashion

Who doesn't love a clip show? After more than a year and a half of blogging about polyester, it seemed fitting to put together a "Greatest Hits" packageof some of the bigger fashion attrocities of the 1970's. Thanks of course, to the good catalogs at Aldens, JC Penney, Sears and Wards.
So check out the best of Fashion Mockery for the finest in ugly shirts, dress alikes, Furhley wear and of course, Mantooth.

that is hilarious ! They REALLY look like they are from the set of Logans Run or the Star Wars Holiday Special. I am still not sure why fashion changed once they had perfected it so well in the 70's.....hmm

And to think,on Buck Rogers they thought this stuff would still be in fashion in the 25th Century. Yikes.

The couple in the denim overalls w/ stars kinda remind me of Kaptain Kool & SuperChick! I the 70s!

wow the clothes are worse than I remember. It's funny even when I watch the 70's spiderman I forget how much worse the lower end fashons were. on the day they reinstituted a suit/sport coat policy beyond our normal short and tie (yes my company is stuck in the 50's) I wore my army dress greens and my Boss wore his leisure suit. we looked at each other and laughed but there was nothing they could do the written policy didn't specy fabris or cut for a suit
