Captain Action as the Green Hornet

You should visit the new movie's discussion board on IMDB.com sometime. Rogen and his co-writer for the Hornet movie have actually discussed the hatred to be found on that board for the new movie and how it all comes from people obsessed with the '66 TV show.

Do some more research on the topic. You'll be surprised.

My dream Green Hornet and Kato figures would probably be difficult because they would have to license Bruce Lee's likeness as well.

enterbay's Kato is sold out unfortunatley (just found out about it last week) and Seth Rogen is a poor Green Hornet in my opinion, a funny dude yes but not the Green Hornet and I am not obsessed with the tv show.

I would love to see Van Williams and Bruce Lee likenesses on action figures. But I would be happier just to have Green Hornet and Kato if it meant the heads had to be Captain Action head or "Asian American" head.

Given their troubles with the factory in china, I think it's perfectly understandable if their focus is elsewhere right now.

I'd say give it some time. The GH licenses were picked up by a bunch of companies and no doubt, overinflated in worth, when the new movie came out. Now that the movie has proven to be a failure (at least in terms of merchandising) there may be potential to do something with the license in a year or two.

Right now I doubt you could even snag the license, as so many people bought it to do various product in anticipation of the feature film. 99% of which have never seen the light of day.
