Captain Action as the Green Hornet

This seems like such a natural for Castaway to do. Any plans on a Green Hornet & Kato Captain Action?

I agree! CA as The Green Hornet like Ideal and PM made him! And how about CA as Steve Canyon?

I just saw the movie yesterday. Loved it. Now I really want a retro Green Hornet & Kato.

I'd like a retro Green Hornet and Kato, too. A Black Beauty in scale would be nice, too.

Of course I meant the retro/1960's Green Hornet and Kato.

It seems like a natural. The Green Hornet was part of the original Ideal Captain Action and Playing Mantis Captain Action lines. Castaway has overcoats and hats in their studio. Captain Action's cap could be re-tooled to be Kato's chauffer's cap.

The movie is a h*ll of a lot of fun, and I highly recommend it. Don't listen to the opinions of those...interesting people who are obsessed with the '66 TV show. The new movie does not destroy the Green Hornet, it is a very respectful, funny, exciting good time!

I am a hugh fan of the old tv series but I have to agree, the new movie, while it did drag in some parts, was a lot of fun and much better than any review I read!!
Bring on the GH Cast Away!!
              Please???

I think the licensing might be out of budget? Who knows but for the movie line it would be expensive seeing Sony owns it. The retro line would be ideal but also owned by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment.
Anyone willing to pony up the fees upfront to make this line? I'm sure CAT would be more than grateful to make this line come to fruition with the help of a benefactor.

I had fun watching the new Green Hornet the other night.

My dream Green Hornet and Kato figures would probably be difficult because they would have to license Bruce Lee's likeness as well.

Really digging my Medicom's because they are kind of close to Mego scale.

Been drooling over the 1/6th Kato, as well as the Hot Toys Bruce Lee figures.

wish I could scare up a set of those RAH220 figures, they are my scale.

there's also the enterbay kato. 1/6 scale and a little more pricey.

You should visit the new movie's discussion board on IMDB.com sometime. Rogen and his co-writer for the Hornet movie have actually discussed the hatred to be found on that board for the new movie and how it all comes from people obsessed with the '66 TV show.

Do some more research on the topic. You'll be surprised.
