Thought about picking 'em up before discovering the re-Mego monster figures... GI Joe always needed some monsters to battle…

I have a real soft spot for these...they were the first figures to really try to be accurate, even before Sideshow, and I really like the chunky, sturdy quality to them. The Phantom is my favorite...I love the choice of olive skin and brown hair.

Wished Phantom had a mask but great sculpt and great costume for customizing.
Mummy was weird. Didnt look right. I wanted to do a Darkman but got scared off.
    Missed Bride.
Invisible man was six shades of awesome. GREAT clear claude rains sculpt*, transparant Hall Of Fame style body. nice outfit.
    * need to make a copy and paint it someday.

Creature looks super cool for GI Joes but I missed that one. Looks like it was expensive to make. Whole new sculpt.

I always liked these. Shame that I don't have any of these.

I am just turned off by the idea of them being 12". I just dont have the space to have toys that large. I have the Sideshow Dracula, Wolfman, Karloff and Stange Frankies as well. Just have them packed away for lack of space.

I always liked the Wolfman sculpt. Very cool.
It's not how hard you hit, but how hard you can be hit and still move forward.

The sculpts are cool, but the bodys are not very well articulated. Kind of like the GI Joe 30th aniversary figs.
