    Mego in the Smithsonian

There will be a display of Farrah Fawcett items at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in the pop culture collection. Included is the famous red swimsuit in the poster all we children of the 70's had, and a Mego Farrah.

On Good Morning America this morning, Ryan O'Niel said he has the Mego Farrah, and "the wig keeps falling off." Not sure how he had the only Mego Farrah that didn't have routed hair, but anyway, the interview will be on the GMA website shortly.

There's actually two Mego Farrah products there- the doll and "Farrah's Glamour Center."

Interesting they chose the doll based on Farrah herself (Mego's license) but not the "Jill" doll from Charlie's Angels (Hasbro).
