I don't think I've ever seen that before. Cool.
That is pretty cool and might garner some interest since the airing of the recent Pawn Stars episode. If they were charged fair prices for the restoration; it sounds like maybe $300-$400 to restore this to like new condition on top of the asking price? I have seen brand new pedal cars selling for $400+, I have to think this one would be worth having professionally restored.

I had never seen it before either. After 3 years of seaching foung this site and what it was. There is a member on here Earth 2 Chris that has a nicer version. Was also on the top 10 where I finally found out what it was!
Kind of hope there are no bids, if not will paint it and hang it back on the wall, but have a new bus I am looking at and need the funds!
Might be listing some stuff for a friend as well, just got off the phone with him and he is thinking of selling his collection but not sure where to start. his stuff will probably end up here vs ebay, the batmobile went there since I had no clue on what to ask for it. His collection is amazing, just about every star wars/doctor who/star trek collectible that came out! And his wife has boxes and boxes of mego's. If I only had a few grand to blow would buy it all off of him! We spent about 7 hours digging in his attic one day and I probably left a trail of drool to the basement.
If I had the room (and the money) I'd think about it since I could just drive over to GA and pick it up.
Keep us posted if you sell that stuff for your friend. Lots of people here collect Trek, Wars and Who.

good luck with the Batmobile MVW and welcome to the museum.
Agreed with ScottA there, keep us posted on anything you would want to sell.
Are you an aircooled enthusiast? I am into splitty buses myself. Have had several over the years and still have some parked between my Vanagons.![]()
Big airhead! Love the splits but have none at the moment. kicking myself for selling my 2 58 panels. At the moment have a 71 high roof, 73 High roof, 74 getting ready to be a high roof (see a pattern here?), 88 gon panel, 70 beetle, 72 ghia, a weird homeade buggy along with a new beetle and a jetta. Thinking I may have a problem!![]()
If the shipping wasn't off the charts I'd get this

Wait, the Empire Batmobile was on Pawn Stars? That is pretty cool and might garner some interest since the airing of the recent Pawn Stars episode.
Chris
i had to put it up there because of the size and weight. Plus to include any packing materials. But alas it did not sell. So (purists this is the time to move to a different thread!) guess I will keep it and do my original plan to sand it down and paint it. Its been hanging on my game roomwall for almost 3 years until i could find some infor on it. Looks like it will be sporting some gloss black paint and be wall art for a few more years! Will post some pics when done.
