    Happy Dr. Mego Day!

Its been a year already since we were able to lay our hands into a brand new Green Arrow figure again since the 70's... From simply completing our Mego figures with repro items, to relaunching Star Trek and POTA Megos from back then, to actually resurrecting the 8 inch format and craze; the doctor has been there for us.

A fellow member recently posted pictures of all three DC Retro Action waves together and they looked incredible. That's another twelve (12) figures! Its unbelievable that just a year ago it was just one.

Thank you Paul (and Joe) for keeping the Mego dream alive! Happy Dr. Mego Day to everyone in the coolest collecting community!

I agree Happy Dr. Mego Day! We've all had that recurring dream of being at the store and seeing these on the shelves and now that it's a reality, those of us that grew up in the 70's are truly getting to relive the excitement of our childhoods. And even better getting to expose our children to the joys of the figures that we loved growing up!

Thanks for the kind words - I'm glad to have been a part of this.

Next year is already looking incredible for us and I hope it continues
    to grow.

While it's very satisfying to get such praise from my fellow mego fans,
I have to say that Star Trek, Apes, DC Superheroes, all the BBP figures,
etc. would never have happened if my good friend Joe Sena hadn't taken
it upon himself to go around to the some major players and pitch them
and powerpoint them into giving us a chance to show what we could do.

If I'm Ben Franklin, he's John Adams. I get all the praise and he sweats
    all the details.

A big thanks from me, too. It is great to see my kids playing with not-only Mego or mego-like figures but a toy that requires no batteries, makes no noise, and requires them to use their own imaginations.
