Castle Dracula will be a mess of cookie crumbs and blood tonight. Tough choice for 70's parents, huggable old cookie monster or a plush lord of the undead? Nowadays Drac would be a big seller at Hot Topic.
When I am grown to man's estate,
I shall be very proud and great.
And tell the other girls and boys,
not to meddle with my toys.

Ah yes, the Commonwealth Toys Dracula dolls. They actually came in a few different sizes.
Mine are buried at the moment so I can't take a group shot, but here is a pic of the small 6" version. His sticker says "Castle Dracula".
The large Dracula came in 2 versions also. A Talking and a non Talking version. The non talking version is the one pictured in the ad. The talking version had a sticker placed over the Dracula logo that just said "Talking Dracula". I forget what is would say.
There has been some debate as to what year this guy was available. This can be finally put to rest if someone knows what year this ad is from???
Sometime in the late 70s I imagine, since I'm going by the fact they also have a Chewbacca listed. Now how cool of a tag team match would that be? Chewbacca and Dracula vs. Big Bird and Cookie Monster.
Cookie Monster Does look in pain. Maybe he's a hand Puppet
The coffin says somthing like don't open until sunset, now as a child this would've annoyed me as surely the suns rays would get in through the coffin like window. But now I am grow-up enough not to let things like this bother me.
