    The hands

The hands are the LJN hands - we had no time to work on anything
new when BBP asked for the muscle arms (the swivel action was
    a happy bonus)

CAT and EMCE do not use the same factory.

One thing I noticed, though. Flash's hands. Are those Cast-A-Way hands? Or do all soft hands come from the same manufacturer where EMCE and CAT get their stock?

I got mine yesterday. These are really well done. I really like the card art, so I don't actually know if I'll be removing mine.
        Looking for:

Ming is really amazing, they knocked it out of the park with that one.

Just got these. I'm very sad that BBP gave up the license and won't make more. The vibrant designs of the movie are ripe for this treatment. But at least we got two really great figures.

You know I still haven't come across a set of these, and to tell you the truth I had all but forgotten about them.

It's a great license, but I've discovered it's a film that is very polarizing. You either love it or hate it. Not many in between out there. For those of us who loved the film, BBP blew us away by making figures most surely thought would never see the light of day. When I held these figures, I realized anything is possible. And BBP continues to surprise and amaze me with classic characters to continue that new found tradition of producing the impossible. Never say never.

These are great figures. If I am recalling this correctly the BBP boys were only scheduled to make Flash and Ming in retro scale. I love these figures but the card art was HUGE! Thankfully, they reduced the card size on all of their other toylines.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
