    12 in Robin hands.

I tried looking thru the galleries as a reference.
1 pic shows green hands with plastic gauntlets while the boxed version appears to show the boy wonder with oven mitts, suggesting flesh colored hands underneath.
Are there 2 diff types or am I just seeing wrong?

The 9.5 Robin wears the oven mitts, but the 12 inch Robin (non-magnetic) simply wears green gauntlets with molded green hands.

Thank you for clearing that up.
I have 1 on the way,was hard to tell scale from pics!
Can you clarify as to why they had a 9.5 and a 12 in version?

That's a great question. The 9.5 inch figures were all sold overseas. From a production reasoning, I would say they tried this because they were already making other characters (like Dr. Who) in that format. Perhaps they felt the 9.5 inch Robin would seem in scale with the 12 inch Batman. It's funny to me how Mego always viewed 'younger' as meaning 'shorter'. I think they might have pulled that perception from seeing Batman and Robin in the early Bob Kane comics. Clearly they abandoned the concept pretty quick and switched him to the 12 inch format. More experimentation in the public domain. It's a cool figure though. You'll really like it when you get it.

From the gallery pics and info,it looks as though the first Robin released(the 9.5 edition)was wearing oven mitts.
The 1 I am getting today has flesh colored hands.Since it is hard to tell scale from pic I am wondering if my Robin is original or has had his head swapped.
Will have to wait a few more hrs to hold it in my hands I geuss.

Here's a pic of mine. Anthony made me the box. Absolutely awesome. You might want to consider having him do you one too!

Here's mine out of the box.

BTW. Those mitts are the same scale as the eight inch line. No difference.

How about the belt?Is it the same as the eight inch or exclusive to this figure?

Same belt too as the eight-incher. So if you have a spare laying around, you can complete him.
