    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZqOSdo7nRY NOTE-Epic Fail!

Watching the episodes they are showing now are almost like new ones for me cause I never saw them. I gave up on Happy Days around early 1980.

Never did like the look of the new Arnold's. Inside looks too much like a German pub.

I almost hate to admit it this, but some of these later episode aren't too bad. The writing seems to avoid some of the formulaic set-ups the show fell into in the last few seasons with Ron Howard. Fonzie doesn't solve everyone's problems for instance. I think they tried to toy a bit with Fonzie's image for variety, but by doing so, he comes across as pale shadow of his formerly cool self. It could also be that Winkler was getting too old to pull it off, and everyone else started dressing as if this was 1981 and he still looked like it was 1955.

I guess since Potsie was barely on these, they had to shoehorn a music segment with Scott Baio and Erin Moran in each episode. Moran is passable, but Baio CANNOT sing. Wow.

No sure why the reason but Anson Williams definitely got the shaft in those later seasons...It's been a while since I saw the "finale" episode but I think he might not even be in that one even though Richie and Ralph come back. I would have preferred they had sent Potsie off when Richie and Ralph left instead of leaving him around in turning him into a complete buffoon. Potsie was never the brightest bulb but he became an imbecile in those later seasons and a fifth wheel.

^Yeah, I haven't paid much attention to the credits on the last few episodes I caught, but I don't think he was in any of them. The last one I saw him in for any amount of time was the one where he is working at the kids ice cream parlor, dressed as a birthday cake.

I know Richie and Ralph returned for a two-parter (the one where Richie punches Fonzie) and then I think just Richie came back for the finale, but I could be wrong.

I never understood why Ralph joined the Army. They had him as such a coward in the later episodes.

I had an uncle who i swore was Fonzie. He even worked in a garage. Sad thing about this Uncle is at my wedding 2 years ago, he was able to attend and by the looks of him still thinks he is the Fonzie. I always bust on him about it.
