Does anyone remember a "Super-bird" wall walker?

I was thinking of old Dept stores from the early 70s and one called JB Hunter here in Rochester. They were only open a few years.
Their grand opening featured some kind of wall walking Super-Hero type of bird, or woodpecker that would gradually climb a wall useing it's beak.
It had a cape , mask and I believe a costume.
When my family went there to check it out, that is when I discovered Action Jackson.

I remember something like that. But the one I recall had a wheel of suction cups as feet. At least I think I remember it.
