Falconer Predator-falcon probe accessory

Hi All,
I'm planning to convert-kit bash my NECA Falconer Predator action figure to a Mego body.
Since i have two figures,I wanted to add a falcon probe accessory (which NECA neglected to add to their figure.
Here is my sculpt base on the reference i got and some screenshots and watching the movie (part where the falcon probe flies and attached to the shoulder of the Falconer predator) over and over.
Also I wanted to be articulated which Hot Toys neglected to do on their upcoming 1/6 figure (I had pre-ordered already) which I might modify it to have articulation.
1)Falcon Probe-spread wings


2)Falcon Probe-folded wings


3)My reference and NECA's Falconer Predator figure.



For the Mego version,I'm going to add sculpey clay and sculpt the skin texture and dip it in boiling water to harden/cure the clay,color it.assemble parts that i will get from the other figure including the head.
For the neck I need to sculpt it though.

What do think of this crazy idea of mine?

I actually Just picked these up for my Son for X-Mas. I got the 5 Figures , No Classic Predator with Mask.... He and I are Huge Predator Fans. I noticed right away that the Hands, Head and Feet are Mego Scale. I was gonna attempt somewhat of a Conversion Myself, If I can get a couple More ..., I can't Destroy His.

I heard that there are only 4 figures in every case only and 6 of each of the other figures.This goes for the unmasked Classic Predator as well.
So the Classic predator will be a hard find by sometime I guess.

I bought Wave 1 Online ... The 3 figures.

I walked in a TRU over the weekend and found Tracker ..., Which is the Only New figure , and Bezerker UnMasked. They Had 3 of Each. No Masked Classic.

Neca Also has that 19inch Classic Comming out ...

I think it's sorta Lame that They Don't include all 3 heads with the same figure, But whatever. I will Probably Pass.

I can not Wait for that Bezerker Hot Toys figure to hit the States.

I've read an article about NECA's re-using the same bodies and why they don't include extra head for their Predator figures and mentioned this;

"The Predator is a good figure, but a lot of fans are unhappy about the way NECA is selling masked and unmasked versions as separate figures. It's not like the company just randomly decided to do it that way: because of the way oil prices are rising, NECA has to be able to sell at least 20,000 units of any given figure to make it financially viable; there are some figures they made in the past that they'd never be able to make today, because the break-even point used to only be 10,000 pieces. Re-using 95% of the sculpt for multiple figures just helps defer that initial cost, and increases the chance of the company surviving to make some of that cool, obscure stuff again in the future."


Hot Toys Berserker Predator and Royce figure are already available in their store in HK.
My Berserker will arrived next week hopefully as they told me.
That HT Cleaner is one cool figure also,great haul there.
Also since you are a Predator Fan check this guy who did digital art photo manipulation of HT and NECA's Predator figures with awesome backgrounds.

Hi All,
Had finished casting and added the pins for the articulation and finished painting and here it is.
1) Spread wings


2) Folded wings;Blade can be swing back when attaching it on the shoulder of the Falconer Predator.


3) Underside detail;Here you can see how the Blade can swing back.


Now,what I have to do is finish adding the skin texture on the Mego body,so I can assemble the armor and the head and paint them.
