Exactly! So what I gather is, as long as he is your friend your cool with it. Or because you know so much it doesn't bother you that someone else gets mislead because it wouldn't happen to you because you are so perfect. So lets put the blame on the ones who didn't take the time to read the fine print when they came across one of these auctions with 30 seconds left.

I don't know the guy, but to me it seems some are being overly picky. A person would be dishonest if they sold you something as original only for you to find out its a repro, that isn't happening.

What you have here is someone selling an all original vintage figure with mostly repro accessories which he states. No one should be fooled if they read what they are buying, and anyone who is buying megos off ebay probably is someone who knows what the description means.

I mean really, obviously its obvious what you would be getting if you won the auction.. so I see no problem. I mean did anyone in this thread actually get confused about what he was selling? If no, then there is no issue here.

Please tell me how something can be ALL ORIGINAL when it not.

    Not 100% original.
    Not 90% original.
    Not 80% original.
    Not 70% original.
    Not 60% original.
    Not 50% original.
    Not 40% original.
    But 30% original.

As Greg says, it's misleading, and purposely so. That's deceptive in my book.

What a difference a good camera makes!

Even though I would not sell my items this way he explains in detail what is repro and what is original with every figure! The rest is up to the buyer!!

I have no issue with the quality of what's being sold -
his feedback clearly indicates a succession of satisfied customers who've
read the description and willingly buy nicely cleaned up figures outfitted with Doc Mego reproduction accessories.

What I have issues with is his purposefully misleading language and qualifiers to obviously untrue statements.

Let me be absolutely clear -
the point of this thread is this:

a figure completed with reproduction accessories should NEVER be called ALL ORIGINAL.

Hector, let me put a different spin on it.

Want to buy an All Original, screen worn Christopher Reeve Superman costume?

The yellow leather Belt is all original.
The yellow belt buckle is all original.
The Royal Blue Tunic, with the sewn in "S" emblem is a reproduction.
The Royal Blue Leggings is a reproduction.
The Red shorts are a reproduction.
The Left and right red leather boots are both reproductions.
The full length red gabardine cape is a reproduction.

Still want to call it an All Original, screen worn Superman costume?

Why do people pay so much for his repro figures? You can get original figures for less in other auctions.
