Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Being a day to give thanks, I wanted to write some Mego related gratitude.

I am grateful for:
Mego toys when I was a child. I remember all of my friends had Mego's. We would get together and play. Getting Mego Batman, Robin and the Batmobile for Christmas remains a highlight of my childhood. Thanks Mego for being a part of a joyous childhood!

The Mego Renaissance:
Thank you Dr. Mego, EMCE, Cast-A-Way, Zica, Bif Bang Pow, Diamond, Mattel did I miss anyone? Thanks for making this format relevant again! I can't believe how much variety is available now in the 8 inch format! There may be now or soon will be more new 8 inch characters available than when Mego was in it's heyday!

The Mego Museum:
Thank you for this site! It was this website that helped me reconnect with my favorite childhood toys. Thanks to all who work hard to keep this site running as the best website on the internet!

I already stated the things I'm thankful for on the General Buzz page, but Mego and toy-wise, I'm thankful for people who get it; who know that toys aren't just for kids, that good memories last a lifetime, and good friendships can be formed online. I'm thankful that I have a place to socialize w/ grown-up kids and toy geeks like myself.

In the mego world I am thankful for the memory of getting my first mego superheros, of playing with my friends and my uncles. I am thankful that, as many here have, i re-discovered megos as an adult and how wonderful they are. Also, I am so thankful for this museum, it has brought much to my last ten years or so.

I am thankful for my family , and my health..... especially yesterday. I was getting a folding table a friend lent us to accomodate the entire family. When I was moving it a Black Widow Spider crawled up by my hand from inside the folded legs.... Yikes .....!!!!!! So glad I was not bitten. I am thankful for America , and the freedom we all have , and of course to have things like Mego's and toys to make life fun and exciting.
