I finally had to forbid the kids from eating sour apple candy in the car. I'll try anything once, and I've eaten stuff that would make a maggot gag, but I can't handle sour apple. The odour kind of reminds me of old paint from the '60s.

I'm strictly a chocolate or potato chips guy. All those other kinds of candies taste terrible and fake to me.

what ant said about sour apple being the equivalent of a paint product is dead on
-----but I think that the potent tart (to the point of extreme) taste is part of the
appeal for me----love it
cherry candy? don't hate it----but I never eat it unless its all there is 'cause it always
seemed the most boring of candy flavors--- along with "orange"
when it comes to "basic flavors" lemon, lime and grape are preferable
when it came to chuckles, I prefered lemon, lime, licorice and whatever that "white" one was
Love the Grape, Banana, Sour Apple and Watermelon flavored candy, etc. I must really be crazy!

I am not much of a candy eater, I am a chocoholic and fine dessert junkie, but as for watermelon flavor, I love it; Gatorade, snow cones.

Watermelon Jolly Ranchers are indeed the best! Mr Perry, our music teacher in grade school, always kept them in a jar on a shelf high above the chalkboard as a special treat.
Try as we might to b.s. him into giving them to our class on a regular basis it never worked. It became something like a battle of wits for the Jolly Ranchers!
