"Doctor Mego Day" - When is it going to happen?

Last year, more or less around this same time frame, and inspired on the recent EMCE releases and the announced Mattycollector.com Retro Action Green Arrow sale; someone here suggested to celebrate a "Doctor Mego Day". I think this was a wonderful idea and a well deserved tribute to everyone's hero Paul Clark a.k.a Doctor Mego. For whatever reasons I didn't hear more on that.

So if that someone reads this, how about re-taking that? What is it going to be? I know that most around here will agree to celebrate it as well. I suggest it to be December the 23rd of every year as this was the day we all got the chance to buy the RA Green Arrow on line. I remember almost everyone on this site making a count down to the sale and announcing how successful they were at buying and how many they bought. That day was so full of emotions: anxiety, thrill, nostalgia, happiness, fun, etc. Everything possible thanks to Doctor Mego!

So, What do you think? When is it going to happen?

Nah, most people wont participate in something like that during the Holiday Season. Best thing to do is attend a Mego Meet and you can kneel before him personally.

Yeah , i have a Doc Mego day several times each year. one was about 9 days ago.

I thought you were going to propose a day we all try to order something directly from Doc. If so, the Tues before Black Friday would be my vote, to kick-start his holiday season and ours.

Just my 2 cents. I know that would be tomorrow. I'd have to go see what I could order.
