A salute to a Canadian band.

We all know they were far and few between (not a real knock)

I always prefer Triumph and SAGA as Canadian bands go. AW is pretty good too, forgot about them.

April Wine is awesome, one of my all time favorites

I always liked this one, and the singer is wearing a Loop T-Shirt, that is still our local rock station.

I'm pretty sure that I'm the only person born in the South that actually knows who April Wine is and I'm positive that I'm the only southerner who listens to them!

*By the way, if you like April Wine and terrible 80s slasher movies, you should check out the DVD "Gutterballs!" It's a Canadian film that came out a few years ago that's 100% old school 80s slasher goodness with many, many April Wine songs on the soundtrack. Just so you know, it is very much NOT FOR KIDS!
Nostalgia just ain’t what it used to be.

I'm from Georgia and I've been listening to them since the 70s.
