Blue Batmobile for the 8" figures?

Has anyone ever heard of a blue bodied variation on the classic Mego Batmobile? I've been talking to fellow who has one, sent me these images.
Anyone know anything about this?

Hardy girl, it's not mine, A fellow ( Non-mego collector) got it in a lot and that's what I was trying to figure out if it's legit or not. The paint on the tires makes me think it's a custom job.

The stickers on the doors look like they are repro's of the Batman chest emblem.

Wasn't there a website that had created several Mego myths, including a blue Batmobile?

Wasn't there a blue Batmobile pictured in the 1974 JC Pennys Christmas catalog? I'll have to dig mine up to check. As others have said I think this one is a custom. A few years ago Paul aka Hulk did a blue custom Batmobile that looked a lot better than this one.

I tried to look for flaws in the paint, but realized the surface was too perfect. It's all nice and shiny while the black one has the plastic texture to it. So based on the photos, I think it's been painted.... but I think I like the blue even better than black!
